Het Parool

In FRAMED the viewer is introduced to twelve characters, all residents from the same city. A concatenation of scenes reveals what connects them; at which point their individual lives meet without being conscious of it.

After the performances HOME, BROOS and KIEM, all of which were created from a strong personal urgency, with FRAMED choreographer Conny Janssen creates a performance about the chaotic and confusing times in which we live.

In FRAMED there is a new role for video. The film images serve as a light source and sensor for the adventurous group of dancers – young talent as well as familiar faces. The music in FRAMED is a varied soundtrack that moves between crystal clear classical music and cinematic urban soundscapes.

Pay attention: Flashes of light and stroboscopic effects occur in FRAMED. This can trigger a seizure in people with epilepsy.

Free introduction
Prior to the performance, at 13:30, you can attend an introduction in the Spinozafoyer on presentation of your ticket. The introduction is free and subject to availability.

Cloakroom and drink
