Concertgebouw Kamerorkest and Liza Ferschtman have played together many times before, but never such an intimate arrangement: seven top musicians and a soloist.

A. Schoenberg - Verklaerte Nacht op. 4

Ferschtman has furthermore commissioned the Dutch composer Fant de Kanter to create a new work that will blend harmoniously with the overall programme. Kanter’s A Dark Descending is a poignant choice in combination with Vaughan Williams’s The Lark Ascending.

Please note: the brochure states starting time at 15.00, which is incorrect. The concert starts at 20.15 pm.
