Day one of Medfest is dedicated to several special artists, including Nai Barghouti; an award-winning singer, composer and flutist. The ticket for the first festivalday also gives access to the concert of Le Trio Joubran.

Known for her stunning arrangements of iconic pieces, she exudes a unique musical brilliance and impeccable vocal control. In recent years, Barghouti has infused her heritage with a new harmony of jazz, new rhythms and recognizable sound from her roots. Barghouti's worldwide shows continue to entice and captivate its listeners.

For this show in The Hague she will perform selected pieces by Fairuz and Umm Kulthum in addition to her well-known pieces.

This program is part of Medfest. A dayticket gives access to the concert of Nai Barghouti, the festive programme in the foyer, and, Le Trio Joubran. Tickets for Dhafer Youssef (day II) are sold seperately.
