Kick off the summer on June 21 at the Spui during Zomerplein. A place for little adventurers and enthusiastic adults!

From 12:00 to 17:00, Spuiplein transforms into a vibrant Summer Square: a meeting place for young and old. Join in the biggest game of musical chairs of the summer, try your hand at dancing at Het Danspaleis, be surprised by spoken word performances, get creative, and attend fun workshops.

Programme

  • Join the biggest game of musical chairs of the summer.
  • Get your feet moving to hits from the past at Het Danspaleis.
  • Discover the art of doing nothing during the spoken word performances by Ik Spreek.
  • Float your homemade boat during the boat parade with illustrator Roozeboos.
  • Discover your dance talent at the Open Dance Class by Amare.
  • Learn to play the djembe together at the djembe workshop by KOO.

It is a party with the neighbors at the Spui. Open Paviljoen van West Den Haag opens its greenhouse doors, where you can admire a beautiful outdoor artwork. Amare hosts an Open Dance Class, and you can enjoy sitting on the terrace at Brasserie Amare. HitchHike Restaurant is there to satisfy your hunger. At The Hague Library, you can do crafts or pick out a beautiful book for the summer.
