Friss has worn many hats over the years, from battling to DJing in clubs, from giving masterclasses (trying to teach the truth to the youth) to being a live tour DJ for rappers, and from running his own record labels; In The Lobby, omroep friss, and It Takes Two. He’s rocked the mic, toured the world, won awards, and so much more.

These days, he spends much of his time in the studio creating music, making edits, and collecting records. In 2017, his longtime friend Deejay Irie introduced him to the world of 45s, and it captured his heart instantly. Since then, Irie and Friss have teamed up as a 45s DJ crew, releasing edits on 45 under the name It Takes Two. Their fifth release is out now and being played all over the world.

In 2025, Friss released his first solo LP, Generation CMD+Z. The album brings together his experiences and growth as an artist, offering a mix of fresh tracks that reflect his musical journey. An exciting new chapter is about to begin.
