If you ever go out for a night on the town, chances are you've danced to the tunes of Ome Steef. This DJ from The Hague can be heard at Mama Kelly, Kompaan, the Koorenhuis, and many other venues in The Hague

DJ Ome Steef has been active as a DJ/cultural entrepreneur in The Hague's nightlife scene for 25 years. As a vinyl collector and music lover, he draws on various genres of music and knows how to seamlessly blend them together. 

In search of the ideal mix of jazz, soul, funk, hip hop, Afro-beat, reggae, disco, new wave, exotica, and other forms of world music, he scans the entire musical landscape. He has performed at dance parties in venues such as Het Paard (New Wave City), Het Koorenhuis (KLUB Dansant), and the Grote Markt (RE-MIX-ED), as well as in theaters during vernissages, premiere parties, at drinks receptions in restaurants and bars, and by creating musical atmospheres at festivals.
