For the last 21 years, Matt Johnson has been an integral part of UK funk phenomenon Jamiroquai, co-writing most of the band’s output during that time. Additionally, he co-produced their latest album Automaton, which achieved the remarkable feat of reaching no. 1 on iTunes in 39 countries. 

Throughout this period, he has been a sought-after writer and session player, collaborating with a diverse range of artists such as Duffy, Ashanti, Lizzo, S.G. Lewis, Nolwenn Leroy, Lucky Daye, Nothing but Thieves, Dizzee Rascal, and many others. Notably, he co-wrote Hypnotised with Purple Disco Machine, a track that has now amassed over 500 million streams. Prior to that, he found major success in France with the single Wonder Why, recorded with Julian Perretta.

Alongside his collaborative work, Johnson has gained recognition for his successful YouTube channel, dedicated to all things keyboard and synth, which has attracted more than 125,000 subscribers.
