Noa Lauryn is an upcoming modern soul powerhouse from Amsterdam. She mixes Soul, R&B and Jazz, delivering personal lyrics with strength and the smoothest vocal runs. Inspired by artists like D’Angelo, Cleo Sol and Anderson Paak, she melts acoustic and electronic sounds into Neo-Soul productions for the 2020’s. She and her Hiphop and Jazz rooted band, The Incredibles, create an energetic live show that is a whole separate experience from the records.

Last April, she released her latest project Always On Time on Vokall Records. This EP about the pace and pressure of modern-day society got picked up quickly by Dutch, Belgian and British radio. It was also featured on some notable platforms such as COLORS, DMY and Fizzy Mag. Always On Time follows after a revered debut album “coin collection” in 2023, featuring sax legend Candy Dulfer.

Born and raised in Amsterdam, Noa grew up a musicians’ daughter, listening to the greats of Soul and Hiphop and hanging out at her dad’s gigs from a young age (Manuel Hugas, i.e. Liquid Spirits). Going through life always wondering “why” about everything, she majored in Philosophy. During this time, her love for music and writing started to flourish and she chose the musician’s path right after graduating. Her curiosity and longing to understand the world we live in still echo through in her lyrics.

When she started releasing music in 2021, she got noticed immediately by Dutch national radio and press such as LINDA Magazine, 3voor12 and Dansende Beren (BE). That year she also participated in a traveling showcase festival through the Netherlands called Popronde. Since then, she has been nominated “Best Talent” in the Sublime FM Awards, has played notable stages throughout the Netherlands (i.e. Paradiso, Melkweg, Red Light Jazz, Grachtenfestival) and some in the UK and Germany. Her debut album has reached over 9 million streams and her latest singles have been picked up on national radio rotations.
