An artist with his own distinct style

The New York Times

Sullivan Fortner lives for swing and the pure power of jazz and blues. His playing, rooted in the gospel church of New Orleans, developed from the age of seven behind the piano. The Grammy Award-winning artist received international praise for his contribution to The Window, the album he made with jazz vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant. As a solo artist he has released several albums, including Aria at the legendary Impulse! Records and Moments Preserved at Decca Records. His latest release Southern Nights came out in February this year.

Sullivan's music embodies the essence of blues and jazz, as he connects music from all eras and genres through his improvisation. He cherishes tradition but also strives for musical innovation.
