Education in Amare
Amare is where many children and young people experience music and dance for the very first time. Since the opening of Amare we have welcomed students from all corners of The Hague, and sometimes even further afield, to enjoy inspiring dance and music performances as well as activities in our public spaces.
For students, a visit to Amare is a unique experience. It is not only about the performance or concert itself, but also about the impressive building, the vibrant atmosphere, and the remarkable venues where music is played and dance comes to life every day. Our programme is suitable for students from Year 3 of primary school through to the final year of secondary school.
Each season, we present a diverse and surprising programme that places a strong emphasis on inspiration, inclusion, and connection. Our resident partners, Nederlands Dans Theater and the Residentie Orkest, also offer their own educational programmes, featuring activities for a wide range of audiences.
Interested in planning a visit to Amare? For questions and bookings please contact Jamie Zwart, Creative Producer Young Audiences at educatie@amare.nl.
