Children’s Music Week

With the annual national Children’s Music Week, the Stichting Kindermuziekweek wants to give children the opportunity to enjoy making music and to listen to live music, and in that way to pass on the joy of music to the next generation. Because music connects people, music makes you happy, and you can always make music everywhere! This way, the foundation aims to build a happier, more inclusive and positive society, with an important role for education.

The period from 5 to 14 April marks the sixth edition of the Children’s Music Week. This year, the theme is ‘Energy’. This refers to every form of energy you can think of: from wind and solar energy, to the energy you get from eating well and sleeping well, from doing exercise to the energy you feel when making or listening to music.
