Green Key 2024 GOLD for Amare

This year again, Amare has been awarded the Green Key sustainability certificate! We have received the 2024 GOLD sticker. 

Green Key is the leading sustainability certificate for the tourism, recreational and cultural sectors in the Netherlands, with some 700 certified establishments. Green Key certified companies make every effort to protect the environment, without compromising on quality and comfort for visitors. These companies go one step further than they are required to do by existing legislation. 

With a Green Key certificate, we contribute to a more sustainable Amare and at the same time to a liveable and healthy world. By satisfying standards pertaining to 12 different themes, we go beyond simply saving on energy and water. It includes measures such as using renewable energy, employing personnel with an occupational impairment, and sorting out plastic waste. 

This way we not only create added value for Amare, but also hope to set an example in the cultural sector!
