MESTIZX is the debut album by singer and multidisciplinary performer Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti and drummer Frank Rosaly. From their home base in Amsterdam, they combine their Bolivian, Brazilian and Puerto Rican roots into a personal and powerful musical story about identity, colonial heritage and the power of ritual.

A ritualistic musical trip through origins, identity and resistance. MESTIZX is not an album, it is a statement. Ferragutti takes center stage with her expressive vocals and physical performance. Her voice carries memory, protest and poetry, moving effortlessly between languages, styles and emotions.

Together with Rosaly and a group of musician friends from the Chicago scene, a layered sound emerges in which avant-jazz, cumbia, art punk, folk and Latin American rhythms intersect. The title MESTIZX refers to living between worlds, without a fixed form or boundary. The album is at once personal and political, a musical manifesto and a celebration of resilience, movement and connection.
