Honderd musici op het podium en een uiterst veeleisende vioolpartij – het Residentie Orkest brengt Tsjaikovski en Strauss.

Tsjaikovski Vioolconcert
R. Strauss Ein Heldenleben
Op het podium barst het vandaag van de energie. Stefan Jackiw, violist en artist in residence van seizoen 26/27, duikt in Tsjaikovski’s uitbundige Vioolconcert. Een lyrisch, veeleisend en onweerstaanbaar expressief werk. Daarna zet chef-dirigent Jun Märkl ook dit seizoen zijn grote Duitse romantische reis voort, en wel met Strauss’ monumentale Ein Heldenleben. Een orkest van meer dan honderd musici, rijke kleuren en ontlading in elke maat: onvergetelijk.
