A revolutionary performance of Bizet’s masterpiece
With La Révolution de Carmen, OPERA2DAY presents a revolutionary take on Bizet’s world-famous masterpiece. 150 years after its premiere, Bizet’s music will be heard for the first time in the Netherlands on historical instruments, performed by the renowned B’Rock Orchestra.
This new production transports you to revolutionary Paris in 1871, the time of the Paris Commune – the turbulent period just before Bizet composed his opera. At the heart of the performance shines none other than Tania Kross. At Amare in The Hague, the production becomes a total experience not to be missed.
