On Sunday 6 December, Amare and The Hague African Festival (THAF) will once again join forces for a special edition of the African Living Room Sessions: an atmospheric afternoon filled with live music, new talent and the rich sounds of Africa and its diaspora.

Programme

Doors open: 3.30 pm
Programme starts: 4.00 pm
Elevate Talent Final
Special guest(s) and performances by up-and-coming artists
Programme ends: 7.00 pm

This edition is entirely dedicated to the grand finale of Elevate Talent, THAF’s talent development programme. Four promising artists, selected from dozens of entries, will take to the stage to demonstrate why they are among the new generation of creators within African music genres in the Netherlands. They will present their music to the audience, the jury and industry professionals, and compete for the title of Elevate Talent 2026.

As well as the finalists, African Living Room Sessions provides a platform for previous winners and up-and-coming artists from the THAF community. Expect a dynamic programme bringing together various African music styles: from Highlife and AfroBeats to Afro-fusion, Rumba and other diaspora sounds.

Whether you’re a fan of African music, curious about new talent or simply want to enjoy a warm, intimate afternoon: African Living Room Sessions invites you to discover, connect and be inspired.

Come and listen to the voices of a new generation of artists and experience an afternoon centred on music, culture and talent.
