Experience Becoming Red Dust, an art project in which artist Hung Lu Chan explores the planet Mars from the perspective of Martian dust.

The project combines scientific research with guided meditation and wearable technology that responds to bodily signals. This results in an immersive installation where visitors can experience Mars through sound and vibrations. The goal is to help people feel a deeper connection to the planet Mars.

The Europlanet Science Congress 2026 (EPSC) will take place in Amare from September 6–11, 2026. The congress is Europe’s largest and most important gathering for planetary research and will be held in the Netherlands for the first time. In addition to the scientific program, the congress will build bridges to the city and the public through art, education, and other projects.
