The Caribbean Angels Foundation was established on February 26, 2018, in The Hague as an initiative of S.A. van den Bijtel de Windt. The Caribbean Angels Foundation aims to strengthen civic engagement in society. The foundation focuses on mutual understanding, respect, dialogue, and education, and considers these essential for the well-being of Dutch society. The goal of this organization is to activate, motivate, and encourage citizens by offering various activities and projects for young and old. The Caribbean Angels Foundation envisions a society in which citizens interact with one another in harmony. This goal can be achieved by equipping individuals with the necessary and appropriate skills, enabling them to approach and engage with their environment with respect, interest, solidarity, connection, and commitment.
Through its projects and activities, the Caribbean Angels Foundation seeks to achieve specific objectives for young people, the elderly, and minorities:
➢ Participation in civic, cultural, and social activities;
➢ Expanding social networks;
➢ Participation in Dutch society
