The Snow Queen is one of the wonderful fairy tales by the famous Hans Christian Andersen.

Thom Stuart, artistic director of DeDDDD, has created a brand-new ballet featuring more than eighty dancers, set to music by the young Finnish composer Tuomas Kantelinen (originally written for the Finnish National Ballet), and takes you on a journey to an enchanting winter wonderland.

Gerda battles against the evil influence that has taken hold of her boyfriend Kai: the Snow Queen has frozen his heart, and trolls, wolves and robbers threaten them. With the help of animals and a noble prince and princess, all ends well.

This chilling yet heart-warming Christmas ballet, with its stunning set design and lighting by Pink Steenvoorden and fairy-tale costumes by Rinus Sprong, is the ultimate Christmas experience for everyone, young and old!
