With a healthy dose of humor that pokes fun at all the “crazy people” on the planet and sounds that blend the traditional with the modern—ranging from Gnawi to rock, rap, reggae, blues, and chaabi—the stage is set for Gnawa Diffusion, and the caravan moves on.
Over the years, Amazigh has become the symbol of an entire generation in the Maghreb and in France. In his lyrics, written in three languages (Arabic, French, and English), he sings of freedom, love, and peace, and fights against obscurantism and imperialism. He uses music to reach people and convey his ideas.
He is a true showman who captivates stages, bodies, and hearts. With his unwavering enthusiasm and candor, he seizes every opportunity to engage with the audience, always pushing the boundaries.
