The Hague City Makers Festival brings together active residents, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, academic institutions, social organizations, area developers, and policymakers. A day full of inspiration, unexpected encounters, and concrete ideas for continuing to build The Hague together.

Theme for 2026: The Resilient City
This year’s theme is The Resilient City. A theme that fits seamlessly with current events. After all, how do we deal with emergencies and the changes we see around us? Big and small. Far away, but also close by. From prolonged power outages to increasing polarization. How do we ensure that, as a city and as neighbors, we’re there for one another? And how do we strengthen our ability to face challenges together?
