Through our art project Hope Box (HBX), we have been actively contributing to fostering solidarity and positive change for more than thirty years. Through our collective art and social art initiatives, we are active from Havana to Tbilisi, from Gaza City to Johannesburg, and from Mitrovica to The Hague.

Programme

Amare Entrance (Turfmarkt side):
September 1 – 30: Kites of World Peace!

Tribunetrap:
September 21, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Hope Box: Piece for Peace art event and dialogue led by Humanity Hub

Hope Box is associated with the International Day of Peace, and since the early 2000s, we have been commemorating this day on both a large and small scale through our global, collaborative, and interactive art.

On the International Day of Peace, September 21, there will be a Hope Box Piece for World Peace art event and a dialogue led by Humanity Hub on the Amare Tribunetrap between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Starting September 1, three historic HBX Kites of World Peace will be displayed at the entrance to Amare to announce the event.

Through collaborative art and dialogue, we aim to promote solidarity and encourage everyone to get involved, connect with others, and take action for a just community built on honesty, equality, and human rights worldwide.

Hope Box is a typical independent artists’ organization, founded in 1995. The board and team are small and effective, and the network of participating artists is large and active. Everyone works on a volunteer basis, and the work gets done.
