About the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw
The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw comprises world-class Dutch jazz musicians and ranks among the best in Europe. The big band has won several Edison Awards and collaborates with contemporary (jazz) musicians from all corners of the globe. In keeping with tradition, the big band presents a series of festive end-of-year concerts. In previous editions, the big band invited artists including Jose James, Oleta Adams, James Carter and Jazzmeia Horn to ring in the festive season with them.
