Matt Simons returns to the Netherlands with a new theatre tour! After a completely sold-out tour across Dutch and German theatres in 2025, Matt Simons returns to the Netherlands in spring 2027. On Friday 23 April 2027, the American singer-songwriter comes to Amare with a new theatre tour, new material and the warm, instantly recognisable songs that have made him a beloved name among Dutch audiences.

Simons first broke through in the Netherlands with With You, featured in the TV series Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, and went on to become a familiar voice on radio and stages with songs such as Catch & Release, We Can Do Better, Naar Het Water, Open Up and Better Tomorrow. His music moves between pop, singer-songwriter and soulful melodies: personal, open and direct.

In May 2025, Simons released his fifth studio album Sun In California. Speaking about the album, he said: “It sounds like something I would want to listen to, and that’s always the music I try to make. I feel like this is another step in the direction of sounding more like myself. With every album, I get a little closer.”

With new music in the works and a renewed focus, Matt Simons is looking forward to returning to Dutch theatres. Expect an evening of fan favourites, new songs and the intimate live energy with which Simons effortlessly draws his audience in.
