Meet4Music is a series of free workshops open to everyone, where we make music together. Everyone is welcome and can join in, regardless of musical experience or background. Meet4Music is offered by the Royal Conservatory and Amare.

Come to Amare for an inspiring workshop about rhythms from different cultures. Every culture has its own musical principles, but at the core, these principles sometimes differ very little. Tonight we’ll explore what musically connects different cultures using body percussion and percussion instruments.

The workshop is led by music teacher students from the Royal Conservatory. They prepared this workshop together with Gijs Anders van Straalen (percussionist/drummer/teacher/cultural musicologist) and a music teacher.

Free entry, but please register via educatie@koncon.nl
