Following a successful first edition, New Tide Festival is back! On Friday 5 and Saturday 6 March 2027, Amare in The Hague will once again be filled with groundbreaking sounds, timeless traditions, and fresh musical energy.

New Tide Festival celebrates jazz in all its facets: deeply rooted in a rich musical history, yet always curious, versatile, and evolving. From The Hague, a city by the sea and the ultimate meeting place, we bring together leading icons and innovative pioneers, with a strong focus on female artists and emerging talent. Spread across multiple locations and intimate stages, New Tide continues to build a lasting cultural movement: locally rooted, internationally renowned.

The first names have been announced: Cécile McLorin Salvant, Translinear Light: The Music of Alice Coltrane ft. Ravi Coltrane with special guest Brandee Younger, Madison McFerrin, Emma Smith, and ZENA. More artists to be announced soon!

New Tide Festival is a vibrant community where artists and audiences come together. With deep roots in the local music culture, they build on The Hague’s rich jazz history, from historic sessions to the contemporary underground scene.

As a distinctly artist-driven festival, New Tide offers musicians artistic autonomy and a fully-fledged, leading platform on which to develop their careers. It is the place for experimentation, synergy and connection in the heart of the city.
