In this programme, the music of Philip Glass takes centre stage, performed by Cappella Amsterdam under the direction of Cyrille Nanchen and harpist Lavinia Meijer. Glass's clear, repetitive and instantly recognisable style forms the foundation of the evening.

At the same time, the performed works by Glass are placed within the broader musical landscape of minimal music, alongside pieces by composers including Caroline Shaw. These works share the same focus on sound, structure and pattern. The result is a programme in which harp and choir alternate and complement one another: from intimate solos to serene a cappella moments, from hushed passages to more rhythmic sections.
