On 31 January 2027, Philip Glass celebrates his 90th birthday. As one of the most renowned living composers, this is the perfect occasion for harpist Lavinia Meijer to honour him with a programme reflecting on her unforgettable collaborations with this influential composer.

Lavinia is joined here by the musical all-rounder Reyer Zwart on acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar and piano. He will also sing Sufjan Stevens, whose music Lavinia encountered through Philip as well. It promises to be a varied morning full of beautiful arrangements of Glass's music, such as Mad Rush and Wichita Vortex Sutra, but also works by contemporaries such as Meredith Monk, Wim Mertens and Sufjan Stevens. Radiohead and original works also feature in the programme.
