Glass Pianoconcert ‘M’ (Nederlandse première)
Vandaag brengt het Residentie Orkest een heel bijzondere Nederlandse première: Philip Glass’ Pianoconcert ‘M’, een filmische en hypnotiserende reis. Pianiste Maki Namekawa, Glass’ nauwe muzikale bondgenoot, speelt de hoofdrol. Daarnaast hoor je Rachmaninovs Derde symfonie, een warmbloedige mix van nostalgie en moderne flair. Een programma vol contrast, energie en emotionele rijkdom.
