Come to the Reparation party in Amare

Den Haag is celebrating the Reparation party on October 10, 2026, in Amare. All visitors can discover how joyful, creative and cost-saving the repairs are. Anyone can their electronics and clothing repaired. There are also various workshops where you can learn to repair things yourself.  

For young and old

From 11.00 to 15.15 there is plenty to do! Do you have clothes or a devices in need of repair? Bring it to the Repair Café and have it fixed. You can also join workshops and learn new repair skills yourself.

For example, there’s a Sashiko workshop, a Japanese technique to creatively and visibly mend clothes. For kids, there are activities like Repair Kid. Broken stuffed animals and dolls can be brought to the Doll Doctor.

Start of the National Repair Week

During the Repair Party, The Hague kicks off the very first National Repair Week. Volunteers from Repair Cafés and other repair initiatives get extra recognition for their efforts. With their knowledge and enthusiasm, they help items last longer and bring residents together.  

After the kickoff in The Hague, activities will take place all over the Netherlands to introduce people to repairing.  

Admission is free, but space is limited. Please, come on time!
