Brazilian Zouk is a Latin American dance that originated in Brazil in the early 1990s. It evolved from the Lambada, a popular Brazilian dance, and has incorporated influences from various other national styles and rhythms.

No experience? No problem! The evening kicks off with a fun workshop where you’ll learn the basic steps. Afterward, you can put them into practice right away during the lively social!

Latin The Hague organises events in The Hague to offer everyone the opportunity to discover Latin American dance and music culture in a casual and fun way.

Social Dance
We regularly organise fun social dances on Amare’s Kunstenplein, in different dance styles such as Latin, tango and lindy hop. Everyone is welcome to join in, from absolute novice to seasoned dancer. A social dance often starts with a dance workshop in a style that suits that evening’s music. The music is provided by a DJ, and sometimes by a live band, ensemble or orchestra. Amare organises these social dances in partnership with dance schools based in The Hague.
