Tango Mooovs organises an Argentine Tango salon once a month. The evening starts with an introduction workshop, accessible for all, and after that everyone is welcome to join the dance salon. 

Programme

19:00 - 20:00: introduction workshop 
20:00 - 23:00: dance salon

Everyone is welcome for the introduction workshop from 19:00 - 20:00. Directly after, the dance floor is yours until approximately 23:00.

The music is provided by various DJs with tango classics from the Golden Age.

Everyone can participate in this tango evening free of charge.

Special tango performance during Tango Mooovs salon

On 17 December, the Orquesta Tipica Del Mosa will perform a beautiful set during the Tango Mooovs tango salon. Orquesta Tipica Del Mosa is a tango orchestra from The Hague. The orchestra started in 1996 as an introductory course at the Koorenhuis and has grown into an independent and close-knit (amateur) orchestra with about fifteen musicians. Gerard van Duinen has been the musical director since 2006.

Social Dance
We regularly organise fun social dances on Amare’s Kunstenplein, in different dance styles such as Latin, tango and lindy hop. Everyone is welcome to join in, from absolute novice to seasoned dancer. A social dance often starts with a dance workshop in a style that suits that evening’s music. The music is provided by a DJ, and sometimes by a live band, ensemble or orchestra. Amare organises these social dances in partnership with dance schools based in The Hague.
