Rewire announces third wave of artists & projects for 2026 edition

With less than two months to go until its fifteenth edition, Rewire has announced a new series of artists and projects. The festival for adventurous music, which will take place from April 9 to 12 at venues across The Hague including Amare, is expanding its program with more than fifty names from the world of experimental music, performance, and sound art. 

Highlights include PHYSIS by Asian Dope Boys, an eight-hour-long work that blurs the boundaries between performance, club, concert, and theatre. In Silencio Moritz von Oswald and The Hague Vocal Ensemble investigate the acoustic and conceptual boundary between human and machine sound. Sam Slater will also bring his audiovisual show Lunng to Amare, while Moor Mother and Hieroglyphic Being will bring their joint performance Immaculate Deception Of History to The Hague.

As a tribute to the late Éliane Radigue

In tribute to the recently deceased composer Éliane Radigue, the festival is proud to announce that the Friday programme will be opened by Ensemble Klang, who will perform OCCAM DELTA XXIII. Rewire is also pleased to announce that a special club programme will be hosted in collaboration with Club Laak running on Saturday night until the early hours of Sunday morning, and that the sound installations of Proximity Music will return to The Hague.
