Announcing the first artists and projects for Rewire 2026
November 2025, news
Rewire is delighted to share the first 44 artists and projects for its milestone 15th edition, taking place from 9 to 12 April 2026 across more than cultural venues throughout the city of The Hague, including Amare. This initial announcement offers a glimpse of the musical adventures and encounters that will animate the international festival for adventurous music next spring.
Rewire 2026 brings together artists who push beyond conventional boundaries, embrace experimentation, and explore new modes of performance, composition, and collaboration. From stalwarts of the experimental avant-garde and defining musicians of our era to bristling new acts and premieres, Rewire promises four days of sonic exploration.
The festival opens at Amare with two premieres of new music from artist and composer Caterina Barbieri in collaboration with ONCEIM. The line-up further includes genre-defying and forward-thinking premieres, exclusive performances, and special collaborations by Einstürzende Neubauten, Oneohtrix Point Never, Beverly Glenn-Copeland with Elizabeth Copeland, Actress & Suzanne Ciani, Tortoise, Jim O’Rourke & Eiko Ishibashi, Armand Hammer, Blawan (live), Malibu, and many more artists.
The complete line-up can be found on rewirefestival.nl. A limited number of 3-Day Passes, and 4-Day Passes are still available and the Day Passes for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are now available as well.
