Exhibition offers a behind-the-scenes look at the streetperformance No Right To Life

November 2025, news

On Sun 19 Oct, the premiere of No Right To Life took place on the Spuiplein in the heart of The Hague: an expression of solidarity in which life in Gaza under siege was brought to life through dance and music. From Sat 29 Nov to Fri 19 Dec, No Right To Life returns with am exhibition on the Kunstenplein in Amare.

No Right To Life is a wordless street performance and photo exhibition created by a collective of artists, volunteers and activists from Brussels, The Hague and surrounding areas, under the artistic direction of the dance group Raj'een. Born from a deep need to give the stories and voices of the Palestinian people a platform in the heart of The Hague, the collective presented an embodied protest that makes a day in besieged Gaza tangible through movement, sound and silence: no safety, no rights, no future. The exhibition, featuring photographs by Savannah van den Roovaart, offers an impression of the performance, a glimpse behind the scenes, and beautiful portraits of the participants.

The exhibition officially opens on Sat 29 Nov with music, dance and informal socialising. Everyone is invited to come and dance Dabke, a folk dance popular in Palestine and neighbouring countries, to learn about Palestinian culture and resistance. There will be opportunities for conversation and to meet others who are actively committed to the Palestinian cause.
