Unveiling the second wave of artists & projects for Rewire 2026

January 2026, news

Rewire is pleased to unveil a second wave of 30 artists and projects joining the line-up for its 15th anniversary edition, taking place from 9 to 12 April across different The Hague venues, including Amare. From iconic and established artists who have been stalwarts of adventurous music across long careers to way-paving new artists who are helping to redefine the boundaries of genre and experimentation, the line-up for Rewire 2026 continues to evolve and unfold, as exemplified by the exciting artists joining the line-up today.

One of the newly announced names is Kim Gordon, known from Sonic Youth, who will present her newly announced forthcoming album PLAY ME – exclusively at Rewire – bringing together distortion, massive bass drums and her iconic lustrous vocals. Chunky Move will perform U>N>I>T>E>D at Amare, a spectacular performance in which contemporary dance, technology, fashion and electronic music merge. In addition, Supersilent and Turner Prize winner Lawrence Abu Hamdan present a world premiere where improvisation and politics intersect. Further additions to the programme include Drew McDowall & Pedro Maia, Nihiloxica, KMRU & Nick Verstand, Park Jiha, Aaron Dilloway, RAKTA & Mette Rasmussen, Laurel Halo & Julian Charrière, Thomas Ankersmit, and many more.
