What are you contributing to?

Your Amare Friends contribution will benefit Stichting Podium van de Stad (City Stage Foundation). The foundation helps make special (international) programming possible for Stichting Amare.

This means that we can bring unforgettable productions to The Hague or the Netherlands that would otherwise not be seen. Thanks to your support, we can also make these kinds of productions more accessible to a large audience. In doing so, you contribute to our mission to be a cultural stage for everyone.

In the past, Stichting Podium van de Stad has distributed donations to, for example:

The New Tide Festival, a brand-new jazz festival on 6 and 7 March 2026 at Amare The Hague.
Het Danspaleis, a delightfully old-fashioned dance party for seniors and everyone who loves to swing. Part of Open Amare, the freely accessible programme in the public spaces.
After the great success of The Rite of Spring in 2023, Amare looked for a way to present more exceptional work by Pina Bausch in The Hague. Kontakthof – Echoes of ’78 is the result.
The international music festival for young audiences, BIG BANG Festival.
