With this programme, Solomon's Knot devotes itself to the impressive motets of Johann Sebastian Bach: music in which comfort, trust and jubilation come together in their purest form.

From the moving Der Geist hilft unser Schwachheit auf to the exuberant Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, a rich spectrum of expression unfolds. In Jesu, meine Freude and Komm, Jesu, komm, stillness and surrender prevail, while Fürchte dich nicht and Lobet den Herrn radiate strength and hope. Solomon's Knot performs these works in a circle, at the heart of the church - a setup that creates an intense spatial sound experience and a direct connection between singers and audience. Bach is thus not only heard, but truly experienced.
