In 2027, it will be 200 years since Beethoven's death. The Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century celebrates with a special focus on his works under the direction of Jakob Lehmann.

Pianist Olga Pashchenko is the soloist in one of Beethoven's piano concertos. Pashchenko is one of the most versatile pianists of our time and artistic partner of the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century. Together they are recording all of Beethoven's piano concertos for Alpha Classics.

For the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, Beethoven is iconic: this music belongs to the core repertoire through which the orchestra grew and made its name worldwide. In this anniversary programme, tradition and future come together in revolutionary repertoire that sounds vibrantly alive once again.
