Once every two weeks, the School voor Jong Talent (School for Young Talent) organises a lunchbreak concert where pupils can perform in public. In this series, the public is introduced to all the departments of Jong KC Muziek: choirs, chamber music ensembles, solists and combos.

On April 9, the School for Young Talent Big Band will perform a 45-minute lunchtime concert at the Tribunetrap, next to the entrance of Amare. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome!

The School for Young Talent

A comprehensive music education program for young talent
Children with a passion for music want to excel at it. They practice intensively and for long periods to master their instrument technically and to understand what is happening in the music.

The School for Young Talent at the Royal Conservatory is a learning environment where we prepare young people with a passion for a professional future in dance, music, or visual arts in combination with regular education (primary and secondary).

Fun, challenge, quality
Jong KC Music is the department within the School for Young Talent that focuses on young musicians. Jong KC Music offers programs in all instrumental majors, covering jazz, early music, and classical music. In addition, students can study voice and composition. We offer comprehensive training programs that include major lessons, accompaniment, piano lessons, solfège, ear training, ensemble singing, and music theory.
