Brahms Symfonie nr. 2
Een spel van klank en fijngevoeligheid. Hosokawa’s Sakura opent met flinterdunne lijnen waarin elk detail telt. Daarna: de cellist Daniel Müller-Schott in Saint-Saëns’ Eerste celloconcert. Een eenakter die direct begint, zonder aanloop: virtuoos, warm en onweerstaanbaar. De Elegie van Fauré en de Pastorale van Brahms vervolmaken de avond met Franse transparantie en symfonische warmte.
