The CineMusic Orchestra takes you on a sensational journey through a mix of classics and new blockbusters at Amare. Expect the very best film music, iconic movie scenes, and fascinating stories about the films, composers and directors. This year, the concert show features an entirely new repertoire. Dream away to the enchanting melodies of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone and many others.

Which films will be featured remains a surprise, but it promises a spectacular mix of classics and new blockbusters — from action to romance, fantasy to true stories.

While the film orchestra performs, shortened versions of the films are projected on a large, cinema-quality screen. The scenes are so precisely synchronised with the music that you are completely drawn into the story — allowing you to experience 20 films in one evening.

Tonight, the orchestra presents The Special: an extended edition featuring 43 musicians and a large choir, conducted by Henk Ummels.

A familiar face on stage is René Mioch. This experienced film journalist hosts the evening, sharing stories between the musical pieces about the films, composers and directors. With his extensive knowledge, he offers a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on these cinematic classics.

Expect an evening full of goosebumps, suspense, laughter, and undoubtedly a lump in your throat. This is film music as you’ve never experienced it before.
