During the afternoon concert, a beloved regular guest, pianist Ksenia Kouzmenko, joins The Hague String Trio.

Programme

Joseph Haydn String Trio op. 53 no. 1 in G major
Karmit Fadael New composition*
Antonín Dvořák Piano quartet no. 2 in E-flat major

The programme opens with Haydn's imaginative String Trio, Op. 53 No. 1, followed by the world premiere of a new work by Karmit Fadael, written especially for the trio to mark its twentieth anniversary. The concert concludes with Dvořák's Second Piano Quartet in E-flat major, Op. 87, which he wrote in just over a month and which has since become one of the most beloved works in the chamber music repertoire.
