Pinkie Binkie is the adventurous album from Eric Vloeimans’ HOTSPOT!, where passion and musical daring take center stage. Together with Jerôme Hol (guitar), Sjoerd van Eijck (keys), Phaedra Kwant (bass) and Pascal Vermeer (drums), Vloeimans explores a broad sonic palette that effortlessly moves between lyrical calm and exuberant energy. Funky, danceable grooves, hypnotic melodies, and a subtle touch of dance — partly inspired by Vloeimans’ collaboration with DJ Armin van Buuren — blend seamlessly with Caribbean influences, African rhythms, and the vibrant sounds of the Balkans. The result is a band that transcends genres, embracing freedom, communication, and a direct, immersive sound.
