With her music, the Syrian-Armenian Lena Chamamayan breathes new life into traditional folk music with modern styles and arrangements. In doing so, she connects Eastern classical music and modern jazz, resulting in a unique sound of 'Eastern jazz.'

Lena Chamamayan is a true musical pioneer, internationally acclaimed for her unique voice and the way she combines traditional Eastern music styles with Western classics. This is also reflected in her instrumentation, where traditional Eastern instruments play alongside their Western counterparts. Lena is one of the most renowned female Eastern musicians who writes and produces her own songs, plays instruments, and sings. Her music represents a world where stories, rituals, and memories converge, and her singing transports you to other realms: melancholic, surprising, and hopeful.
