Lulu Santos has released his debut album, "Tempos Modernos", in 1982. The mix of pop-rock-samba turned him into a hit machine for over 50 years, partnering with MPB artists such as Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa.

The singer, composer, and instrumentalist Luiz Maurício Pragana dos Santos, who sings about love in such a special way, evolved from progressive rock to pop rock sambalanço. This mix made him the success machine he has been for over 50 years, with growing relevance and the hallmark of timelessness. His songs were chosen as the soundtrack for romantic relationships, the struggle of the LGBTQIA+ movement, and even for health, when one of his hits, “A Cura,” became the theme for vaccination during the Covid 19 pandemic.
