The Four Seasons
The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi hardly needs an introduction anymore. Thanks to advertising and film music, everyone knows fragments from these four violin concertos that give sound to spring, summer, autumn and winter. What has faded into the background is just how revolutionary these concertos were in both form and content. It is precisely through his reworkings that Max Richter reinforces that revolutionary character.

Cloakroom and drink
Cloakroom and an intermission drink are included. If the event does not have an intermission, you will receive the drink afterwards.

Max Richter
With Recomposed by Max Richter – Vivaldi: The Four Seasons, the German-British composer achieved his definitive international breakthrough in 2012. Prior to that, this student of, among others, Luciano Berio had gained modest success with projects such as The Blue Notebooks (2004) and 24 Postcards in Full Color (2008). Following Recomposed, he rose to prominence with albums such as Sleep (2015) and Exiles (2021). Richter has also composed numerous soundtracks for films and television series.
