Re:Freshed Orchestra

School friends Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo started out in 1992 as the production duo The Neptunes. They soon began writing and producing for countless artists. Their breakthrough came in 1998, when they scored several hits with Mase (‘Lookin’ At Me’) and N.O.R.E. (‘Superthug’). After that, the stars were queuing up: Britney Spears (‘I’m a Slave 4 U’), Ol’ Dirty Bastard (‘Got Your Money’), Jay-Z (‘I Just Wanna Love U’) and Nelly (‘Hot in Herre’), amongst others, enlisted their services. And always with success: for years, Williams and Hugo were a constant presence in the charts. The Neptunes’ signature sound is both recognisable and irresistible. Not just for hip-hop enthusiasts, but also for fans of R&B and pop.
