Sara Correia

At the age of 13, she won the prestigious Grande Noite do Fado, and since then she has conquered the international stage – from Lisbon to Latin America – with performances full of emotion and intensity. Her work earned her a Latin Grammy nomination and brought her collaborations with some of Portugal's most prominent composers and lyricists.

She calls her third album, Liberdade (2023), her most personal and most fadista work to date – deeply rooted in tradition, but open to influences from the present. In a powerful live programme, she and her band perform a repertoire that both pays tribute to the classical fado heritage and leaves room for fresh colours and sounds.
