Shahram Nazeri was born in 1950 in Iranian Kurdistan and earned the nickname "the Persian Nightingale" for his iconic performances of traditional Iranian music. He was one of the first singers to effortlessly transition between classical Persian and Kurdish music and the mystical texts of Rumi.
Thanks to his exceptionally expressive tenor voice and technical perfection, he can transcend the boundaries between musical genres without straying. Over the past 65 years, audiences have grown in tune with his dedication and closely followed the internationally acclaimed Nazeri. Anyone who is (not yet) part of this group can see this living legend at work with Amare.
